Lori Barrett

Lori began her yoga journey in 2019 when she needed some grounding and stability in her life.  She joined a beginner yoga class in August of that year and was hooked.  She could see the benefits yoga had on her mind, body and spirit.  She was drawn to practices like Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga.  Her love for yoga brought her to explore other styles of healing. She attended meditation classes and learned more about crystals and the Chakra system.  In 2020 she trained for her Reiki level 1 certification, followed by her level 2 certification and in 2021 she became a Reiki Master.

After exploring yoga for a few years she decided she wanted to share it with others.  She began her 200-hour teacher training through The Decatur Wellness Collective and became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2024. She is currently enrolled in a Sattva Yoga Therapy Program at Pranayoga Institute of Yoga and Holistic Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2026 Lori earned the title Ayurvedic Lifestyle Specialist and is currently working toward her RYT300, and C-IAYT Certification.
